Why do we need a new building?

School Enrollment.
Our school’s overall enrollment is growing at about 10% per year, with the biggest growth sectors being in our younger grade levels. This new building would provide space for 103 new students from our community!

Early Learning Center Enrollment.
Our Early Learning Center has been blessed with a perpetual waiting list. We want to make certain we have plenty of room as families promote from the ELC into the broader LCS environment!

Time Is Key!
We hope to have the doors open by December of 2024. This way, we can begin accepting students and hiring staff based on the new capacity standards.
What's Inside?
This new building will contain eight modernized classrooms for K1-K5, uniquely structured for their needs. This $2.6M fundraising initiative will provide a structure for 136 students to have their own learning space. It will make our outstanding learning-to-read program accessible to more children throughout our community, along with the Community Reading Initiative.
